Hello Future Sports Lovers!

My name is Sumedha Shrestha, and I am an avid sports watcher not player.

I had no idea what I wanted to do when I started college, but when I discovered that I could pursue a career in sports, I knew that was what I wanted.

I will graduate from CU Boulder in December 2023 with a degree in strategic communications. I chose this major with a strong emphasis in public relations because I enjoy connecting with people and helping them in achieving their goals. I am also minoring in both sports media and media studies. I specifically chose sports media because I have a big passion for sports.

I have had the opportunity to work for professional teams such as the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Mammoth, and Colorado Eagles. My time with these teams has taught me a lot about the sports industry. Although I enjoyed every minute of working for these talented teams, one thing I missed was getting to be a fan.

So, when deciding what I wanted this blog to be about, I decided to create a site for those who want to become sports fans because being a fan is fun.
